Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"This Italian restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The appetizers are fresh and delicious, especially the bruschetta and antipasto platters. The main courses are perfectly cooked with a rich blend of flavors – I loved the homemade pasta dishes and the fresh seafood. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere makes it the perfect place for an authentic Italian meal. Highly recommended!"
"During our visit, we chose the restaurant at random, we did not look at previous reviews. In the end, we were very satisfied. Grilled calamari 16€, wife grilled chicken breast with spinach 15€, daughter chicken salad with vegetables 13€. The food was delicious and well seasoned. The prices are not as high as we thought at the beginning. We waited about 20 minutes for the food, which is fine. In the end, we ordered a takeaway pizza Capriciosa 13.50€. I can recommend the restaurant, it has a copreti fee of 2€/person."
"Ristorante Le Delizie is a great spot if you’re looking for delicious pizza at a good price. The pizza was amazing — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The prices were very reasonable for the portion size and quality. The only downside was a bit of a language barrier, as the waiter didn’t understand English very well, which made ordering slightly challenging. That said, the food more than made up for it, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. I’d definitely recommend it, especially for the pizza."
"Absolutely amazing pasta. The most delicious I've ever eaten. Lots of choices on the menu. The pizza and meats were delicious. Options for vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians. The allergens are listed on the menu. The wine was spectacular. The olive oil at the table was so sweet, I will never stop thinking about how delicious it was. Great atmosphere and service. The decor is beautiful. I will definitely come back on my next visit. Great for lunches and dinners with family or friends, or date night. The prices are good and the ingredients are high quality. You can taste how fresh they are. You can have an appetizer, main dish and second dish for around 40 euro. The food is so delicious, it's completely worth it."
"Every time when Im in Trieste I go eat here. Food Is amazing and servis is excelent."
"I think this is the only gelato shop near the canal. One scoop costs €2 for takeout and €3 for dine-in. We tried passion fruit, tiramisu, and lemon. The tiramisu was a bit disappointing, especially considering it’s an Italian gelato. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either."
"Nice restaurant in the heart of Trieste. We didn't know where to eat, so we went to the first place that came across and were satisfied. The restaurant looks very good, as soon as we entered we noticed a beautiful and modern interior and we thought that it would be expensive there, we ordered three different pizzas and the price was about the same as in other places and it tasted very delicious. I would like to try other dishes next time."
"We stumbled upon this restaurant because we hadn't yet found our way around Trieste. We sat down for dinner. The waiter was very nice. We ordered squid and potatoes, the dish was very, very oily, the oil was dripping. The taste wasn't bad, but nothing impressive. I would say, a real tourist confection. It's not badly decorated, but it doesn't follow the realization of the plate."
